Don’t expect to see Shelley Unwin in the camp anytime soon. >>> Click here to read the full article on the Digital Spy website Former Coronation Street star Sally Lindsay has admitted that it’s very unlikely we’ll ever see her joining the campmates on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, even thought she’s asked to take part most years. The actress, who recently starred in Channel 5’s gripping drama series Cold Call, is perhaps best known for her role as Shelley Unwin on the ITV soap, but Sally recently shared that fans shouldn’t expect to see her in the Australian jungle anytime soon. While chatting to Liz Taylor in an upcoming episode of the Events That Made Me podcast, Sally admitted she’s asked to take part on the ITV reality series “most years”. “But, oh God no!” she continued (via The Mirror), shutting down any possibility of Sally following in the footsteps of fellow Corrie stars Jennie McAlpine and Andy Whyment. “If one of the kids needed life-saving surgery, then maybe I would go. Not that I don’t think it’s brilliant. I love watching it! But I can’t even eat prawns because they look like insects. “I could do all the other things, but it’s the eating I couldn’t do. They’d all be starving.” Although this year’s series of I’m a Celeb is currently up in the air thanks to a certain global pandemic, there have already been rumours about a reported line-up, with The One Show‘s Matt Baker, former Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Pritchard and Good Morning Britain‘s Susanna Reid all being named as potential campmates.
